After Instore TV for food retailing has already been successfully installed in German supermarkets, the Digital Signage solution has now also arrived in Russia: Since mid-June the solution is in use in a ‘Spar’ store in St. Petersburg. The xplace Recipe Adviser was also installed at this store.

Instore TV for food retailing shows customers on large TV screens promotional information, such as Top Offers of the week, offering topics of the retailer and other product and service information. The monitors are located at strategic points, such as fruit and vegetable section or near refrigerated shelves.

The xplace Recipe Adviser is an interactive touch terminal which provides customers with over 1,000 recipes available. The customer finds his favorite recipe via the keyword search or the category selection. The recipe can be printed directly.
